Status

Covered with conditions. Covered; core-subject curriculum can also be reimbursed within 30 days.

Conditions

Curriculum, supplemental materials and associated online instruction, through the Marketplace. Out-of-pocket purchases can be reimbursed only for K-12 curriculum that includes at least one required core content area (reading, writing, math, civics, history, literature or science) or pre-K kindergarten-readiness curriculum, and only after checking the Marketplace and asking the vendor to join.

Limits

Reimbursement within 30 days of purchase; not for purchases before September 1, 2026. Quantity, size and frequency limits.

Odyssey Marketplace, Reimbursement (four categories only)

Documentation

Marketplace order; for reimbursement, an itemized receipt (vendor, date, total, full description, proof of payment) and an explanation of why the account was not used. Handwritten receipts do not count.

Not allowed

Reimbursement for curriculum outside the core content areas (buy it in the Marketplace); books with content that may pose a threat or promote violence.
