It is not legal, tax, financial, accounting or investment advice, and it is not advice about your child’s education or eligibility.

Funds from these programs can have tax, benefits or legal effects that depend on your situation. Before you make a decision, talk to a qualified professional, and contact your program’s administrator for questions about your account.

Accuracy, to the best of our knowledge

We check amounts, dates and rules against each program’s official sources and show the date each page was last checked. Even so:

  • Programs change rules, amounts, deadlines and approved-provider lists during the year, sometimes without notice.
  • Official sources sometimes disagree with each other. When they do, we say so.
  • We can make mistakes, and some pages may be out of date by the time you read them.

So the information here is offered to the best of our knowledge at the time it was checked. It is not guaranteed to be complete, current or correct. Your program’s official handbook and its administrator are always the final word.

We are not a government agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any state agency, program administrator, payment platform or school. We cannot approve or guarantee any application, purchase, reimbursement or payment.

Providers

A provider’s appearance on this site does not mean we endorse it, and it does not mean a program will approve a purchase from it. Check that the provider is approved for your program before you pay.

Not responsible for decisions

You are responsible for the decisions you make with your program’s funds. We are not responsible for denied purchases, returned or lost funds, missed deadlines or any other result of relying on this site.
