Conditions

Tutoring services provided by an individual or a tutoring facility that is an approved Hope Scholarship education service provider, bought through the closed Marketplace. The tutor may not be a member of the student's immediate family (parents, grandparents, siblings, step-relatives, first cousins, aunts and uncles, in-laws and others listed in the Handbook definitions).

Limits

No dollar cap stated. Reasonable Cost test. Buy multi-month services as separate single-quantity orders (Portal Guide).

Documentation

Marketplace order in the portal; the provider completes the order.

Not allowed

Tutoring by an immediate family member; parents paying themselves; out-of-pocket tutoring (not a reimbursement circumstance unless a documented need cannot be met by an approved provider within 30 miles).
