What is covered, conditions and how to pay

Status: Covered with conditions. Covered at approved nonprofit private schools; food, field-trip and childcare fees excluded.
Conditions: Tuition and fees invoiced by an approved nonprofit South Carolina private school, including enrolment and registration fees, technology fees, supply and book fees for classes taken during the school day, and academic testing and assessment fees.
Limits: No cap beyond the award. School uniforms are limited to $500 a year. For new families, services after July 1, 2026 only.
Payment routes: Pay Vendor
Documentation: School invoice through Pay Vendor with the required fields. Transportation must be on a separate invoice.
Not allowed: Food, field trip, fundraising, graduation and child care fees; transportation on the same invoice as tuition.
