|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hope Scholarship (West Virginia) | Curriculum | Marketplace direct pay | Confirmed: Hope Scholarship (West Virginia), Marketplace direct pay | Listed on the Hope Scholarship's Participating Service Providers list for Hope ScholarshipNote: Hope Scholarship "Participating Service Providers" list (public page, all 26 pages read 2026-10-19; 1,290 entries). The page lists "educational service providers with approved services available in the online marketplace", so a Provider entry is recorded as marketplace-direct-pay (the closed portal Marketplace for services). | Hope Scholarship (West Virginia) | Curriculum | Reimbursement | Available via another route: Hope Scholarship (West Virginia), Reimbursement | The out-of-pocket purchases of digital subscriptions for curriculum or other digital learning tools that do not involve live instruction.Condition: Reimbursement is one of the Board's nine listed circumstances, so it is open to every Hope account holder for this product: request it in the portal within 90 days of purchase with itemized receipts showing the student's name, item and amount paid (a bank statement alone does not count); purchases made before funds are available do not count; paid by ACH.Note: Teaching Textbooks is a self-paced digital math curriculum, so it fits policy circumstance 7 (and circumstance 3 for off-the-shelf curriculum). | 2026-10-19 |
How this table is compiled: sources and methodology.
Applies to every Hope Scholarship offer: Hope services are bought in the closed Marketplace of the Hope Scholarship portal and goods through TheoPay; both routes are open to every Hope account holder. Reimbursement is allowed only in the circumstances of the Board's Reimbursement Policy (adopted December 10, 2025), must be requested within 90 days of purchase, and purchases made before funds are in the student's account do not count.
Reimbursement is listed as a route to check. Whether a program reimburses this kind of expense is set by the program’s handbook; see the guide for your state.
