Covered with conditions. Art lessons and art supplies covered; lesson teachers need a credential.

Conditions

Art lessons are an allowable tutoring or teaching service, and the credential rules apply. Art supplies are general education supplemental material: from July 1, 2026, an attestation and course-of-study answer replace the curriculum document (SET). Art classes at a public school are allowed. Art therapy is for students with a disability only. ADE issues the ClassWallet debit card only to account holders who have a student with a disability and who opt in through the ESA parent portal (ADE ESA Support, 'ClassWallet Pre-Paid Debit Card', checked 2026-10-15).
